You will have to forgive the length of time that the site has been out of action. Due to unforeseen circumstances the damn thing couldn't be rescued.
So what can you expect from the new version of WYSIWYG-Art, well things are changing...
I had noticed that instead of a lot of galleries being hosted on the old WYSIWYG-Art people were opting to do it themselves. This was likely to happen as creative people also like to be in full control. So as one of my other interests (and job)
is web design and programming, then I would try to help people make their own web sites in a simple and straight forward way. I don't just want a site full of tutorials, other web sites do that very well, but I do want to provide you with the knowledge of what is out there web-wise to help you make and maintain your site. There are plenty of links to back up the overviews for those that want to learn more.
I will be starting a virtual gallery up again in the not too distant future, it won't quite be the same as before. This is the way I see it working: You will sign up for a gallery page and receive a username and password. You will then have to fill in a form to place the data on your page. The images will have to be on your web space i.e. free space that came with your ISP. The benefits of this are that you will be able to change your information yourselves and keep your images fresh.
So this version of WYSIWYG-Art, as well as promoting my web design service, will be helping people create their own sites and improve them etc. I hope this is what people want, if it isn't you can tell me what you would like to see here instead.
